Herbs

Herbs like basil, cilantro, and parsley thrive in warmer temperatures and tend to wilt and lose their vibrant flavor when exposed to cold temperatures for too long.
The cool environment of the fridge can cause condensation on the leaves of the herbs, leading to decay and spoilage. Additionally, the humidity levels in most refrigerators are not ideal for herbs, as they need some air circulation to stay fresh. Storing them in airtight containers or plastic bags can also trap moisture and expedite their deterioration.
