Will’s Ultimatum
Although Will wanted to help his father, Richard, in any way, he decided not to undergo his DNA testing, which would have built a stronger case against Kate in court. Will didn’t want his mother to get sued even though she had been lying to the family the whole time.
Richard was thinking otherwise as Kate had taken a large portion of his money during the divorce process. Richard knew he had a strong case against Kate as she had been unfaithful the whole marriage. Will gave Richard an ultimatum that if Richard sued his mother, he would never talk to him again. Richard was hurt that his son would take this position and had a lot to think about as he was ready to sue Kate.
