The First Email
Richard knew that Kate would check her email every morning and decided to send her an email stating that he had been diagnosed with cystic fibrosis and was infertile. He also mentioned that he knows the boys are not his biological sons, and he has an idea who she was sleeping with the whole time.
Richard also shared with Kate that he would be revealing the news to their sons, but gave her the respect of how it would be done. Richard also mentioned that there was no getting her way around this as the doctors stated that he had been infertile his whole life.
