Richard was determined to discover if Kate even loved him, and the constant thought of her loving this other man was tearing him apart. At first, he told himself he would keep this to himself as he didn’t want to hurt the boys. But as he discovered more about what Kate was up to, Richard knew he had to confront her.
Richard didn’t know how to confront her at first as it was difficult for him to talk about it. He knew that talking to Kate in person would only upset him, so he decided to send an email to see what Kate would say about the information that he had learned. What Kate said back was quite surprising.
