Fairuza Balk
Fairuza Balk was still relatively young when she started on Disney’s Return to Oz, though that movie would prove to be the first of many. Balk is best known for her roles in movies such as Waterboy, a comedy film in which she starred alongside Adam Sandler, and The Craft, a horror fantasy film.
Fairuza’s unique ability to portray goth-girl characters contributed to her fame, and she landed several roles. She’s continued to star in movies to date, even though she’s no longer the teen star she once was. She had a unique look that was not the usual “girl next door” look, but she made it work nonetheless.
