In the 1990s, Britney Spears was a huge fan of crop tops, and she was quite famous for it. She was only 16 when she was shot into the limelight as a result of the reception of her “Baby One More Time” song; once she became famous, though, she became known for her bold and coordinated fashion choices and her love for crop tops.
Spears only appeared in love-themed outfits as she became more prominent, so she spearheaded a teen pop revival in the 90s. She’s also starred in a host of stage productions and movies. It’s safe to say that if you grew up in the 90s, you had a crush on Britney at one point or another, it was almost impossible not to.
