Halle Berry has appeared in dozens and dozens of movies since she began acting, but none made her as famous as Monster’s Ball. Her first significant role was in Boomerang, a 1992 movie with Berry and Eddy Murphy.
Because of that role, she soon got other roles in film, and along with those came a Primetime Emmy Award, Golden Globe Award, and an Oscar award. Born into an interracial family, Halle’s passion for performing and working was apparent early as she participated in beauty contests and was the runner-up in the Miss USA Pageant.
