Michael Lang was best known for being one of the co-creators of the famous Woodstock Festival. Lang partnered with producer Artie Kornfeld in 1969 to create one of the most popular music festivals in the world. Woodstock Festival featured performers such as The Grateful Dead, Carlos Santana, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and several more.

Lang became a legend in the music industry as he was one of the people behind creating one of the best music festivals in the world. Sadly, Lang passed at the age of 77 years old from Non-Hodgkin lymphoma on January 8th.
