Using WD-40 can be a helpful method to break in a new baseball glove more quickly and efficiently. Start by spraying a small amount of WD-40 onto a clean, soft cloth or rag. Then, gently rub the cloth over the surface of the glove’s leather.
Focus on the areas that feel stiff or need additional flexibility, such as the palm or the area around the fingers. The WD-40 works by moisturizing and conditioning the leather, allowing it to soften and stretch more easily. After applying WD-40, manipulate the glove by flexing and bending it.
