Carrie Fisher was an actress and most known for her role in the Star Wars franchise. She had a famously turbulent relationship with Paul Simon. They two were married in 1983 for only one year but were in an on-and-off relationship for twelve years.

He did write songs for her, including “She Moves On” and “Hearts and Bones.” The two did not have children together, but Carrie helped to raise Simon’s son from his first marriage. Sadly, Fisher died in 2016 after suffering a heart attack.
