Cher is one of the most famous singers of all time, and she has done it all, including acting, singing, Broadway, and modeling. In 1975, record mogul David Geffen took Cher on a date to see a solo Gregg Allman performance.
Cher and Allman were married just days later, while Cher was still on The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour. The couple had one son together but divorced two years later as a result of Allman’s addictions. Cher went on to become a bona fide star.
