When it comes to the great state of Washington, Yelm is considered to be the most miserable city in the state. Yelm might be the worst city in Washington, but it is far from that, as the poverty line is much lower than you would expect. The reason why Yelm is considered to be a terrible place to live is that the crime rate is pretty high compared to other cities in the state.
Yelm might be one of the worst cities to live in, but the population has been increasing dramatically each year which is probably due to the number of jobs available.
