azoo City might be the most colorful city in Mississippi, but it is considered to be the state’s most miserable city to live in. Mississippi has been ranked the poorest state in America, and sadly it is no different when it comes to Yazoo City. Amazingly, about 50% of the residents are under the poverty line and are struggling to make ends meet.
Yazoo City is home to around 12,000 residents, but that number is shrinking every year as people are leaving each year to find a better place to live. If things don’t change, then Yazoo City will become dead pretty soon.
