Sam Ponder is an American sportscaster best known for replacing Erin Andrews on the College GameDay program, and as the co-host of the ESPNU, 9 am ET edition. Ponder works as a sports reporter and host for ESPN’s college football programs, and she also does some sideline basketball coverage.
Sam was the regular reporter on ESPN’s Thursday Night College Football program, along with Jesse Palmer, David Pollack, and Rece Davis. She’s a Christian and married to American football player Christian Ponder.
