Leslie Visser is a well-known sportswriter and contributor for the Boston Globe and the only female sportscaster in history to cover the Final Four, the World Series, the NBA Finals, the Super Bowl, Monday Night Football, the Olympics, and the U.S. Open.

She became famous after joining CBS as a part-time reporter in 1984, and she’s managed to sustain the fame over the years. Leslie was voted the No. 1 Female Sports Broadcaster of all time, and in 2006, she was honored with the Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award.
