Britt McHenry
Individuals that are driven by a passion for what they do tend to excel at their professions as this passion fuels excellence. This is the case with sports reporter and journalist, Britt McHenry, who played division 1 soccer for Stetson University. She was a midfielder and starter for her varsity soccer team, where she played with Ashley Harris, who would later become the United States women’s national soccer team goalkeeper.
After college, she decided to become a sports journalist, and she got her start as a sports journalist for ABC7 Washington before proceeding to work for ESPN as a reporter and contributor on the ESPN website. She’s a prolific female sports journalist, and one of the nation’s most respected sports reporters.
