“Blockbuster” is an American workplace comedy series conceptualized by Vanessa Ramos, who not only serves as its showrunner but also holds the role of executive producer. Drawing inspiration from the Blockbuster brand, the show features Randall Park in the role of Timmy, the manager of a fictitious Blockbuster Video store situated in Grandville, Michigan.
The series made its debut on Netflix on November 3, 2022. However, it faced cancellation after just one season. It’s somewhat ironic that the same streaming service that is largely responsible for Blockbuster’s decline is also the one behind canceling the show.
