Weekly Beauty Treatments You Should Have

Let’s face it; life is busy and can wreak havoc on your body.  Every day you are bombarded with things coming at you, your job, your kids, the never-ending pile of laundry.  It can be exhausting.  There seems to never be time for the weekly beauty treatments we all want to squeeze in there.

What we all need is a time set aside each week to renew ourselves for the week ahead.  Taking care of yourself not only makes you look better, it makes you feel better as well.  For me Saturday works best but perhaps another day is the best choice for you.  You think it will take a long time but you will be surprised just how little time it actually takes when you begin.  What exactly should you do for yourself on a weekly basis?  I am so glad you asked!

Every woman needs to add some power to her skin care routine.  A facial mask or a microdermabrasion at home beauty treatment will leave your skin feeling hydrated and smooth.

Deep conditioners are good for hair and help repair the damage of the week. Wash your hair with your normal shampoo and swap out a conditioning treatment for your regular conditioner.  If your hair is naturally oily don’t apply to the top quarter of your hair.  If you want a truly luxurious conditioning treatment, warm a damp towel in the microwave until the temperature feels right to you.  Be sure and check it every 15 seconds or so to make sure you don’t overheat it.

Take care of your nails.  A little time today will give you beautiful nails all week.  A secret hint: stash whatever color polish you choose in your purse to have on hand for quick touch-ups throughout the week.

Also good to add in to your weekly beauty treatments are teeth whitening, using a body scrub and arching your eyebrows.  Everyone’s list of beauty treatments is different, make yours what works for you.
