We all know what contouring is and how to do it, but have you heard of Korean contouring yet? It’s a fairly different version of the concept that makes it a bit easier for Asian women to achieve the look that they want from contouring. See, with such a different face shape than other women, it’s not always simple to achieve the same look with the same kind of contouring. The concept here is actually quite simple, and it’s not as difficult as you might think. But it does differ from typical contouring. While the idea is the same, the placement of it is quite different. Essentially, you have to look for the shadows on your face and where they naturally fall. This will be where you will place your contours so that they enhance your face and make it look like the shape you most want it to look.
The next thing people want to know about Korean contouring is whether or not the concept is right for you. For most women who are not of Asian descent, the answer will probably be no. It’s something that works primarily on women with a specific face shape. A woman who looks like Kim Kardashian isn’t going to use the same contouring rules as a woman who has the same facial shape as someone of a different ethnicity. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t take some of the general rules and apply them to your own contouring habits to make sure that you get the most out of your contour and highlighting. Since the purpose is to make your face look as lovely and flattering as possible so that you feel confident in your own skin. Additionally, it’s something you can do all the time and not just when you are going out at night; it’s a day and night thing.
