Valentine’s Day is just a few days away, and that means it is time for you to figure out what you’re going to wear, how you’re going to dress and what you’re going to do for the big night out with the person you love. The worst part is probably figuring out how you want to wear your hair since that’s something that you likely never change up. We have some great suggestions for fun styles that are going to give you a completely different look without being so complex you can’t accomplish the look in just a few minute’s time. If you are looking for a new way to style your hair this holiday weekend, let us give you a few simple ideas that you can make possible in just a few minutes.
Curls
If you have straight hair and never wear curls, it’s time to consider it. You’ll want to start with small sections of your hair, probably 1-inch sections and a hot curling iron. Work from the back to the front and make sure you don’t curl each section too tight. You want them loose and bouncy. Spray with hairspray and continue with your night out.
The Pinned Back Bang
We love this look on someone who wants something a little chic but simple. Wearing your hair up isn’t always what you want, but down means you might have to deal with it in your face. Take a 3-inch wide section of hair from the front and center of your forehead and pin it back with a few bobby pins. Give it a little volume by puffing it up, spray, and go.
Side-Swept Bangs
We love this look on the woman who always wears her hair parted down the middle. Take your bangs and pull them to the side, blow them that direction with the hair dryer and then pull them straight with a flat iron. Spray your bangs as they lay slightly across your forehead and brow and you have a seductive look that’s perfect for a romantic holiday.
The Simple Pony
We love the idea of parting your hair down the middle and pulling it back into a low pony. It’s simple, elegant and very simple. This is something that will complement a dress with a very dramatic neckline. Just make sure to spray it good so that you don’t have any flyaway hair.
A Side Braid
If you’re in a romantic mood, this simple style will suit. All you need to do is start with a braid that pulls around your head to the side of your face and around your shoulders. Leave it loose and a bit messy. Let some of the front fall out and curl it just a bit by twisting your flat iron as you pull it down and out for a simple curl. It’s going to give you a very romantic look.
