The Biggest Trends in Wearable Makeup for This Winter

What is a wearable makeup trend, you ask? The answer is simple; it’s a trend you can actually wear. Unlike many of the makeup trends we see in runway shows and in magazines, these are trends you can actually incorporate into your everyday life and make them look good. They’re not too done up that you can’t get away with them during the day, and they’re not so over-the-top they are inappropriate for women to wear. However, that doesn’t mean all women are familiar with the hottest wearable makeup trends for the winter season, so we thought we’d share a few of the most stylish with you. These makeup trends are lovely enough to wear on a daily basis, whether it’s night or day, and they’re perfect for women of all colors, shapes and sizes. That’s what we love; universal beauty in makeup trends.

Contouring and Highlighting

You’ve seen it online; the tutorials that show you how you, too, can highlight and contour your face in a way that makes you look like a completely different person and it’s actually simple. All you need is a little bit of highlighter, a little bit of contour and a mirror. Your face will take an on a much more flattering look, which is going to make you feel good.

Bold Lips

It looks a bit silly sometimes, especially on women who also use their bold lips in conjunction with bold eye makeup, but it’s not a bad idea. You can wear bold, red lips and still look amazing and fresh. It’s not something that’s going to look overdone as long as the rest of your face is fresh and clean, and not overly made up.

Nude Lips

Yet again, we discuss the lips. This is not the same as completely ignoring your lips. The concept here is that you want to keep them nude in a way that will make them look good, not neglected. A nude lip stick, a little bit of gloss and pretty pink cheeks will complete this look.
