Busy women don’t have time to exercise. They don’t even have time to condition their hair and get a blow out or have their highlights taken care of, so on earth should they be expected to find time to exercise? The answer is simple; women who are invested in their health always find time to exercise. In fact, it’s not even that hard. Get rid of your illusions of having to find a gym and spend two hours a morning there working out and learn how you, too, can find time to exercise no matter how much you have on your plate.
Exercise the Easy Way
The easiest way to find time to exercise when you’re already super busy is to make some minor adjustments. For example, take the stairs instead of the elevator at the office. Walk to work instead of driving – if you live within a reasonable distance; hiking 4 miles one way is a bit much most days. Walk to the coffee shop or restaurant in which you want to eat lunch instead of driving. Spend your work breaks outside walking a few blocks instead of shopping online or answering emails.
Take Up Yoga
The good thing about yoga is that 30 minutes is perfect. If you can find time to spend practicing yoga just once or twice, you’ll realize how much you love it and you’ll never want to stop. This means you’ll make adjustments to your schedule to find time to practice yoga no matter what. You won’t want to make excuses as to why you can’t practice today or next week.
Have Fun
Exercise doesn’t have to be arduous and boring. Exercise can actually be a lot of fun. If you’re looking for a new hobby, join a sports team. Take up golfing or swimming or jogging. Go for a long walk with the dog or your kids. Just do something active and fun and it won’t even feel like exercise.
