There’s an app for that; actually, there is not an app for this. Does this mean we’ve found the one thing that there is not an app for? Should we write this down somewhere on a calendar to mark the day we broke app history? Or should we make an app for that? I digress – there’s probably an app for that. However, if you really want to make your own app, you can. You can make apps, and create apps and become an app person who makes apps and does app stuff, and it’s not even that difficult. We have a few tips that will help you learn to create your own app in under a few hours (7 steps, if you will) and for less than your utility bill every month ($200, to be precise).
Do the research
First and foremost, you have to learn as much as you can about your app. You have to make sure that what you want to create is good enough for people to download. We are certain your idea is stellar, but you might want to do some research to make sure we are not the only ones (aside from you) who feels that your idea is stellar.
Buy a Template
Here is the part where your $200 comes in handy. You have to purchase what’s referred to as an app template for this job. It’s a code that’s been created so you can make it bigger and better. You might be able to get one as low as $100, but trust us when we tell you it’s far more affordable than creating one yourself, since that amount tends to start at around $15,000.
Monetize Your App
How will you make money with an app? Will you make money with in-app purchases? Will your charge for it? You have some math to do, and you need to do it now.
Hire a Programmer
Unless you are a master computer programmer, you need a developer to go ahead and build your app for you. You can find a developer online, through people you know or even locally. It’s not all that difficult since the development aspect of any app making is pretty cut and dried for those with the correct education and experience.
ASO Happens Now
It’s actually called App Store Optimization, but it’s important nonetheless. Search the internet (Google proved very helpful when searching this term) to find out how to best get people to see, download or purchase your app. It’s kind of like marketing.
Launch Your New Baby
Now is the time to go ahead and put your app out there in a live setting to see how it does. You can make sure you advertise it if you want, you can put it on your social media, you can send mass emails; you can do whatever you want to launch your app, but you do have to launch it.
Purchase Traffic
The world relies on advertising to work like a champ, so it’s time to start buying traffic. You can do this by placing ads on your app so that you draw in more traffic, more users and perhaps more people to download your efforts.
