Every year, Glassdoor comes out with a new review of the best jobs in the country. They’re always jobs that are good for various reasons, including overall employee satisfaction, pay scale, benefits and so many more different features. If you are currently in the market for a new job, you might find that this list holds a very particular appeal to you since you can find a new job, something that people love and know that it’s a highly rated job. The company rates the top jobs in the country, and we’ve brought you their top 5.

  1. Mobile Developer – The median base salary for this job is $90,000 per year, and it’s a fairly self-explanatory job if ever there was one. This job is one that allows you to work with different apps for different software, developing and creating them so that others can use them. Some might want you to have at least 5 years experience in app design, however, but no degree is necessary.
  2. Engagement Manager – This job pays a median base salary of $125,000 per year, and it is pretty easy going. It’s a job that requires you work with companies to manage your relationship with different clients as you work together. You do need at least a Bachelor’s Degree, but some companies prefer you have a Masters.
  3. Solutions Architect – With a median base salary of $119,500, this is a great job. Working with companies as a sort of middle man with their clients, you find the solutions to the problems that you have together and fix them for everyone involved. Most require a bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years’ experience in the field.
  4. Tax Accountant – A median base salary of $108,000 is workable. This job requires a degree in accounting, a CPA license and probably a few years’ experience in most companies. The job is pretty simple, as you handle income taxes and accounting services for your clients.
  5. Data Scientist – The median income for this position is $116,840, and the job requires a lot of numbers. If you have a Bachelor’s degree and some experience in the tech field, you’re doing all right. You can get this job and then work developing systems and trends and analyze the market to see what the data looks like.
