Another Tough Year
The boys’ twelfth birthday was fast approaching and was a bit different from the rest as Peter had been diagnosed with epilepsy and occasionally had seizures that would leave him out of school for several days. Mark and Dennis were worried about their brother as they didn’t like to see him when he had seizures.
Despite the setbacks, the Scholtz brothers looked forward to their birthday photograph and didn’t complain about posing with their annual birthday poster. Since Peter was having seizures, he started to fall behind in school, which led Mark and Dennis to surpass him, which really started to worry Karin.
