From then, Williams’ star continued to rise. He continued to prove his creative and comedic genius with top films like Good Morning, Vietnam, Dead Poets Society, Mrs. Doubtfire and many more. He crossed over into films for younger audiences with his iconic role as the Genie in Disney’s 1992 animated film, Aladdin, as well as movies like Hook, Happy Feet, and the Night at the Museum trilogy.
In spite of his funny characters, Williams also proved that he could take on more serious roles as well, such as with his performance as psychologist Sean Maguire in Good Will Hunting (which earned him an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor).
