In what some may call âthe worldâs biggest mysteryâ (okay, that may be an exaggeration), American travelers find nothing wrong with hopping a plane to a foreign country, shelling out money for new experiences in a new part of the world, yet still eating the same mediocre (if that) hamburger they can get across the street from their own apartments.
Itâs somewhat understandable, McDonaldâs is familiar and has been a staple in their lives from the very beginning. But when Americans travel abroad, something about those golden arches draws them in with magnet-like force.
