Yes, You Can Still Go On A Vacation If You Are Short On Cash

Ah, vacation.  The very word brings up images of laying on a beach drinking little umbrella drinks and sinking your toes in the sand.  But what happens when the funds are short and you just don’t think you can make it happen this year?  Do you give up?  No, there are still ways to make your vacation happen.

There are some financial secrets that you can use to help you reach your dream.  One way to really cut the price of your lodging down is to agree to go to a time share meeting.  What will happen is that you will watch a presentation about why you might want to purchase a timeshare.  In exchange, you will get greatly reduced rates on your lodging.  You are under no obligation to buy.

Another way to cut your lodging costs is to share a condo with another family.  A lot of times extended family will vacation together or even a group of friends because they can save a lot of money this way.  They also have a great time together.

Renting a place with a kitchen or kitchenette will allow you to make a lot of the meals in the room or suite and save on the costs of eating out.  Even if you go out to dinner each night, you can save by doing cereal and sandwiches for breakfast and lunch.

Coupons are usually readily available if you go to a resort area and they can be used to save on everything from souvenirs to meals and treats.

Take advantage of free entertainment.  You don’t have to spend a lot of money on entertainment.  Take advantage of the free things to do in the area.  Enjoy not only laying on the beach during the day but looking for seashells in the morning.  Take a drive and see the scenery.

With some careful planning, you can still go on vacation if you are short on cash.
