3 American Hotels You Must Visit At Some Point

When it comes times to choosing a vacation destination, sometimes it’s not as much about the location as it is about the hotel in which you stay. Of course there are always destinations you want to visit, and chances are good that some of them are on this list of the best hotels in the USA. On occasion, however, the fun thing to do is plan your vacation around a hotel so that you can ensure your trip is the trip of a lifetime.

The Montage Laguna Beach

The Montage is one of the most beautiful hotels you will ever visit. With stunning views of the Pacific from most rooms, as well as the restaurants, you cannot deny this is a beautiful hotel. The menu at the Loft, one of the lovely little restaurants at the Montage is decadent, the wine delicious and the view spectacular. Take my advice and ask to be seated outside. Even if there is a wait – it’s worth it. Located in the small, artsy town of Laguna Beach in Orange County California, you will find everything you want here. From walking through historic Laguna shopping in the many art galleries and lovely boutiques to making the quick drive up the PCH to Crystal Cove for a cocktail and dinner at Javier’s, it makes for a lovely vacation.

The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island

While here for my birthday weekend, I was pleasantly surprised not only to be greeted by name with a happy birthday from almost everyone on the staff, I was also pleasantly surprised with a complimentary suite upgrade, a bottle of champagne and a birthday card. Our dinner reservations included a gorgeous view and we indulged ourselves in a glass of wine in the courtyard while sitting in front of the fire watching as families roasted marshmallows in the many fire pit areas overlooking the Ritz beach. Upscale without being pretentious, the gorgeous views and wonderful staff make this Florida hotel one of the most gorgeous.

Royal  Hawaiian Waikiki

While I’ve never stayed at this particular hotel, we did walk through…because it’s impossible not to want to see what this gorgeous pink building is all about. It’s a Spanish-style oasis on the beaches of Waikiki. It consists of old-world charm with all the modern amenities and upgrades you want in an upscale Hawaiian vacation. You will not be disappointed with your room, the views and the staff at this lovely old hotel.
