Three Wedding Problems All Brides Face

Planning a wedding takes the patience of a saint. Unfortunately, most women don’t have the patience of a saint. Or half a saint; or even a quarter of a saint. The problem is that planning a wedding brings out the bridezilla in the calmest, most relaxed woman around. With so many details to cover, minor snags to fix, and demands from the groom, his family, your family, your friends, your coworkers, and everyone in between, there is no reason brides shouldn’t go a little crazy before their big day. While you can’t ensure your day will be as flawless as your guy, you can rest assured that the wedding problems you deal with planning are the same problems most other brides are dealing with.

Picky Eaters

There’s nothing you can do about the fact that the people at your wedding may not eat what you serve. While many people may tell you to have a little bit of everything, which includes vegan food, vegetarian food, red meat, white meat, fish, and Kosher foods; it is your wedding and you shouldn’t have to deal with the stress of making sure everyone’s favorite foods are on your menu. Forget them. It’s your big day. They can go out afterward or eat before. Don’t stress yourself out because of them.

Bar Costs

Every bride wishes she could afford a full, open bar for her guests, but it’s not a reality for everyone. Fortunately, you can still offer your guests some alcohol without worrying about the cost. Offer a bar that includes beer, wine, and a signature cocktail to keep the cost of liquor down.

Plus Ones

If you invited guests with a plus one you don’t have to worry about this one. However, if some of your guests were sent an invitation without a plus one listed, and those guests reply with a plus one, you will stress. Here’s the deal: You aren’t being rude – they are. Simply send them a kind reply telling them you wish you could include their date, but that you want your wedding to be small, you don’t have enough room, or extra guests are breaking your budget. If that person really loves you, they’ll understand.
