It never ceases to amaze me how many people live their lives with such negativity. I find it difficult to understand when someone is so negative about their life when they have no real reason to be so negative. As Iâve gotten older, Iâve realized that there is a reason for the unhappiness and negativity of so many people; theyâve fallen for the lies that we are incorrectly raised to believe, and they live by those incorrect rules. If you are one of those people, itâs time to unlearn those lies and start living happy.
Happiness is Not Achieved Only When You Have it All
Yes, itâs nice to have it all, but that isnât a right to becoming happy. Having it all doesnât automatically make you happy, and not having it all doesnât automatically mean you should be miserable. In fact, you should be happy simply because you woke up this morning. Not everyone was that lucky, you know. When you find time to appreciate what you have rather than longing for what you want, you will find that you actually are quite happy with your life, and youâll be a better person because of it. You shouldnât focus so much on the destination that you forget to enjoy the trip.
There is No Instruction Book for Life
Life is not âsupposedâ to be anything other than life. There is no law saying you have to grow up, go to college, work nine to five, go home, make dinner, and do it all over again the next day. Life is supposed to be what makes you happy and fulfilled (as long as itâs legal). If youâd rather skip college, forgo the nine to five, and eat takeout every night while you work on your lifeâs passion, go for it.
You Are Not âSupposedâ To Be A Certain Way
Sorry, but you donât have to be the same person as everyone else. Youâre allowed to be different. You are allowed to think Iâm crazy for spending $800 on a pair of shoes and Iâm allowed to think you are crazy for not doing the same. We are all allowed to be who we are, as long as we are happy and law abiding citizens. I donât have to be just like you and you donât have to be just like me. Thatâs the beauty of life.
