How You Can Get Paid To Go to Spas, Casinos and Amusement Parks

We’ve all gotten the emails, mostly spam, from companies asking us to become mystery shoppers. The premise is simple; you go somewhere, pretend to shop (well, actually shop) and then evaluate the situation. It can be anywhere from a shop to a grocery store to a restaurant. You’ll get paid a small fee and reimbursed for your purchase. It seems like a good job, but it is not one that’s going to make you rich fast, and it’s not one that’s going to let you do what you really want to do. It’s nice to get a free meal if you’re on a budget, so that works for many. But there are so many other forms of secret shopping available for the general public that you can do just about anything for free items and even a few bucks. Did you know you can be a mystery worshipper, and get paid as much as $45 to attend church on Sunday and report on it?

I’m going to tell you now that I wouldn’t do that. As an avid church-goer, I feel wrong about taking money to go to service. Unless I put it in the offering, I wouldn’t do it; but it does work for many. What I would do, however, is get free money to go to my favorite amusement parks and casinos – and the spa. It might seem like some sort of really random dream, but these are actually available jobs. From heading to the casino to getting to see your favorite artists in concert, there are companies out there that actually pay you to do some seriously cool things. You might not get a lot of money for them, but free tickets are enough. You can do these jobs and minimize your entertainment budget for the month by a boatload now that you get to do these things free of charge. Here’s where to go if you want to get paid to go places and do things you actually enjoy – and have a lot of fun while you’re doing them.

Amusement Advantage

If you love amusement parks, water parks and family fun theme parks, you’ll love this job. It’s not going to make you rich – in fact, most of these jobs don’t actually pay. However, you will be reimbursed for your tickets to theme parks, your parking and even some of your food and beverage orders throughout the day. That means you get to go ride the roller coasters, submit an evaluation and be reimbursed for a very expensive day. As much as we pay for our annual Disney passes in this house, that’s a welcome payment to me.

Market Force

This company pays people to go to the movies and watch them. Sometimes the job is less movie watching and more counting people to see who is there and evaluating situations of that nature, but you still get to see a free movie. The price we pay to see movies these days means that this is a good job without the additional payment to go.

This is one that pays you to go to casinos. You might be asked to evaluate things like slot machines, bars and/or the restaurants that are on the premise. The company is NOT going to cover your gambling losses, but you play and win and you get to keep what you win. You will also be reimbursed for your food and beverages if asked to evaluate things like the bars and restaurants and service. The fee for this one is not really known, but it does sound like a fun evening to enjoy free of charge once you are reimbursed for it.

This is an interesting company. They’re in the business of automotive sales, and they want to know how dealerships are doing. Your job is going to be going to dealerships, test driving cars and posing as a potential buyer. Some people suggest that they are paid as much as $60 per dealership when they do this job, which is a nice payout if you’re looking for a way to earn a little bit of additional money on the side.

In addition to automotive sales, this is a company that wants to know about public entertainment. You can be hired to go to concerts, sporting events and other cool public entertainment events to see how they go. What you will be asked to do in attendance is not really known, but it doesn’t hurt to check it out and see some of your favorite teams and artists for nothing. It sounds like a pretty good gig if you can get it.

If you love to look at houses, you will love this job. Your job here is to pose as a buyer of a new home and rate and evaluate realtors. You’ll be doing business with as many as possible from time to time to see how they work and whether or not companies are in need of some work. It’s a good gig, but it can be one that makes some people uncomfortable as they don’t enjoy making someone work for a sale that they know is never going to happen.

Coyle Hospitality

This is a company that needs people to evaluate travel-related items. This includes hotels, spas and the like. You won’t get rich doing this, but you will make a little money and receive reimbursements for your spa treatments, which is never a bad thing. Get massaged, get paid and get reimbursed. Sounds pretty good to us.

MSP Services

Do you love beer and cocktails? Then you’re going to love this job that pays you to go into bars and restaurants and rate the service while enjoying cocktails. You’ll pretend to be a customer evaluating how long it takes you to get service, the kind of service you receive and so on and so forth. It’s a nice way to get to enjoy cocktails and get paid back for it.
