Sometimes you hear something so inspirational and so meaningful it becomes impossible to forget these words. Sometimes it’s something meaningless and not intended to become inspirational, and sometimes it’s a quote by someone famous that really makes you think. Being a parent and raising kids sometimes requires words of encouragement, and we find ourselves looking to the most inspirational quotes in the world to find wisdom and authority in them so that we can feel good about our roles as parents. Kids are, as you know, a challenge even on their best days. This is because we know that everything we do, say and provide them is going to impact them on some level at some point. We wonder daily whether or not that impact is going to be a positive one. With that said, I have some of my favorite inspirational quotes about raising kids to share with you. Because we all need a pick-me-up and a reminder sometimes that we are rocking this job and even to help remind us that we are not alone.
“Children are not a distraction from the more important work. They are the most important work,” – C.S. Lewis
“The kids who need the most love with ask for it in the most unloving of ways,”
“Parenting is the easiest thing in the world to have an opinion about, but the hardest thing in the world to do,” – Matt Walsh
“The most important work you will ever do will be within the walls of your own home,”
“Taking care of yourself is part of taking care of your kids,”
“Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn,” – Benjamin Franklin
“Children learn more from what you are than what you teach,” – W.E.B. DuBois
“The most effective way to raise a nice child is to be a nice adult,” – L.R. Knost
