You try hard to keep your social calendar full. You work hard, play hard, and spend as much time as possible with your friends and family. You do this because you want to live your life and enjoy your time on earth. However, most of us do too much and plan too much and spend too much of our time wasted. The things we plan are not always for our enjoyment; sometimes they are just a waste of time. Find out the reasons you are wasting your life.

Fear of Missing Something Good

You run yourself ragged, which causes you to miss the good things in life, in an attempt to miss nothing. Learn this: You can never do everything, be everywhere, go everywhere, or do everything in life even if you never again slept, ate, or took time to work. You are always going to be missing out on something, so slow down and take the time to enjoy the things that you are rushing through before moving on to the next thing.

Holding On

Many people spend years of their lives holding on to things that are no longer a part of their lives. A lost love or a missed opportunity are both things people spend far too much time focusing on. The time is gone. It’s over. It’s time to let go of what is no longer part of your life and make time for the enjoyment of things that are part of your life.

Trying to Fit In

The biggest waste of time in your life is the time you spend trying to fit in with other people. You will fit in by being you. If that doesn’t work, those people are not good friends. You shouldn’t have to try to fit in; you should simply slide right in just the way you are.
