There are two types of women in this world; women who love shoes and women who are no longer with us – but loved shoes when they were alive. Shoes are magical. They can transform just about anything from your mood to your ensemble to your level of confidence. However, if you don’t know how to wear your shoes, you’re not going to get the most out of them. No matter how many Louboutins or Choos reside in your closet, you have to know how to wear your shoes the right way or risk looking less than gorgeous.
Pointy Toe Shoes
The way to wear these sharp, edgy heels is with a pair of wide-leg jeans from which they can peek out of. While they do look great with skinny jeans, they look their best with wide-leg pants. Additionally, they look amazing with pencil skirts and anything that has a knee-length, A-line shape. For the most bang for your buck with these shoes, stick to these pairings.
Peep Toe Shoes
Peep toes are a little sexy and a little flirty. They allow you to show off your pretty pedi and play a literal game of hide and seek. You can wear these shoes with virtually anything and look amazing. They’re perfect with skinny jeans, cropped pants and any skirt that hits below the knee. Think flirty and fun. These shoes are perfect for spring and gatherings in which you want to be just a little feminine and girly.
If you want to make yourself look short and stout, pair these round toe shoes with wide-leg pants. If you want to look long and elegant, stick with skinny jeans or leggings. You can wear them with a skirt or dress, but since they cut off your feet at the toes, you’ll want to keep them for those shorter than knee-length skirts and dresses to help balance out the length of your legs.
