Every now and again we all face a day in which our level of confidence is anything but high. Everyone has their reasons for feeling less than confident from time to time, but we cannot allow that to ruin the day. When it’s time to raise your confidence, here are a few simple tips that will help you get the job done in a few minutes or less.
Take Deep Breaths
Spend one minute taking a few deep breaths. When you take the time to do this, you help your body relax and de-stress, causing you to feel better when you’re done. You’ll be amazed at how much more confidence you feel after one minute of deep breathing. Go ahead and try it.
Throw on Something Red
It’s a power color. Red is nothing short of bold and beautiful, which is why wearing something red can increase your level of confidence. Put on some red and you’ll feel instantly confident and powerful. Another good idea is to invest in a really killer pair of red stilettos – or a pair with a red sole – and wear those anytime you want to feel your confidence level rise.
What do you do when you look into the mirror? You think about how jiggly your arms look or how much you hate your thighs or wish your shoulders were a little prettier. You have to stop that. Sit down and make a list of all the things you love about your body. You love your amazing calves and your really spectacular bottom? Write it down. Hang it near the mirror and anytime you start to criticize your (self-perceived) list of flaws, refer to your list and feel your confidence level rise.
