To sleep an extra half our or to get up and go through your beauty routine again? It’s a difficult choice for any woman to make at the crack of dawn, but more often than not the beauty routine wins out. You know your confidence level will fall the second you leave the house feeling anything less than perfect, so that extra half hour of sleep will just have to wait until the weekend, or until your kids are grown up and out of the house. If you want to get a little more sleep and spend a little less time on your vanity, it’s time to start taking a few shortcuts in the morning without interrupting your beauty.
The Two Minute Face
Use a flat makeup brush to apply liquid concealor under your eyes and around your problem areas and blend it well. Next, apply mascara from the bottoms of your lashes outward in an upward motion. Finally, apply a little bit of blush colored lip gloss and be on your way. You’ll look natural, gorgeous and glowing in less than two minutes; perfect to prepare you for the day ahead.
The Five Minute Face
Apply liquid foundation to your face using your fingers and an up and outward motion. Next, apply a dash of powder foundation with a brush using the same motion. From there, all you have to do is apply a little pinky-peach blush to the apples of your cheeks to give you a natural glow. Fill in your brows with a pencil one shade lighter than your natural color, add mascara and a bit of lip gloss and you are a little more dressed up and ready for the day ahead.
The 10 Minute Face
Using the same steps in the five minute face, take a few minutes to add a shimmery eye shadow in a neutral color over your lids. Apply a little silvery-white shadow to the corners of your eyes and swipe it over your brow bone to brighten up your face and have you looking fabulous in just a few minutes.
