How to Imrove Your Appearance While you Sleep

Unfortunately, we don’t all wake up looking this gorgeous each morning. For most of us, it takes a little one-on-one time with the bathroom mirror, entirely too expensive makeup and a barrage of hair products and electronics. Perhaps we are more gorgeous than we view ourselves, but try telling that to, well, yourself. If I’d known I could become more gorgeous while I slept, I’d have been all over that years ago. Since I can’t go back in time, I’ll just start these beauty habits during my sleep right now.

Moisturize Your Skin

This rule applies to the skin on your entire body, not just your face. It’s time we all learn to moisturize before bed. When we do this, it helps our skin appear younger and more gorgeous, and it helps to fight off wrinkles provided you use an anti-aging moisturizer that contains an ingredient called hyaluronic acid. Its job is to draw moisture into your skin to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles as well as dry, flaky skin.

Rest on Your Back

Sorry my pregnant friends (for so many reasons having just ended my third pregnancy and welcoming my twins), but sleeping on your back is going to help make you more gorgeous. When you sleep on your side – as you have to do during pregnancy since your back and stomach are out – you actually cause your face to develop more wrinkles on that particular side. When you sleep on your back, however, you can avoid this tragic occurrence.

Put Your Hair Up

I’m not sure many people sleep with their hair up at night, but we should all do it. Sleeping with your hair up keeps it off your face. Keeping it off your face keeps the oils in your hair from getting into your skin and causing you to look greasy – it even prevents breakouts.
