Fall is just around the corner. With this gorgeous time of year come cooler weather, sweaters, and riding boots. Additionally, fall also brings pumpkin everything, back to school days for the kids and the ability to eventually turn off the air conditioner and open the windows (isn’t that the best?). Fall is a great time of year that so many people look forward to. College football, pumpkin spice lattes and the smell of apple candles and other fall scents make it amazing. Here are three things to look forward to this fall season.
Who doesn’t love college gameday? Office football pools and donning your favorite colors (orange and blue, anyone?) every Saturday to cheer on your team with your favorite loved ones; it’s a great fall tradition. School spirit is a particularly awesome thing to have, and many of us count down the days until kickoff.
After months of being closed up inside with only the hum of the air conditioner to cool us off, the ability to finally turn it off and open the windows is one that’s hard to ignore. Those cool, crisp mornings where the open windows do nothing but make you smile are exciting. It’s also nice to be able to open the windows in the evenings and feel the cool air touch your skin.
This is especially exciting if you have children of your own. The pumpkin patch is so much fun. You get to go out, take a hayride and find a few gorgeous pumpkins amid fields of gorgeous pumpkins. Knowing that the pumpkin for which you are searching is the one you will take home and create a carved masterpiece out of is very exciting. There’s nothing quite like finding the perfect pumpkin, carving it and seeing it glow at night for the very first time.
