Unhealthy thoughts fill our brains each and every day. Our job is to make sure that our unhealthy thoughts don’t overtake our healthy ones and leave us stranded in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of a life we’re merely existing and not really living. Unhealthy thoughts are detrimental to our wellbeing, our health and our ability to succeed in life. Here are three unhealthy thoughts to ditch now if you want to succeed in life.

I Don’t Know How to Do That or Where to Start

If you want to make a life change, you can’t talk yourself out of it before you’ve even started. Telling yourself you don’t know where to start or that you don’t know what you’re doing is a surefire way of actually ensuring you won’t succeed. Instead, tell yourself that you’ll learn. Become excited to learn and to open your mind to new horizons.

I’ve Failed Before

Hey, pity party; get that unhealthy thought out of your head right now. We’ve all failed before. In fact, we’ve all failed enough times to have lost count several hundred failures ago. You don’t give up on chasing your dreams because you’ve failed before. If you didn’t get pregnant on the first try, would you quit trying all together? Of course you wouldn’t! All the best things take a little bit of time – and a lot of failure – to accomplish. And when you finally do accomplish your dreams, guess what? You’ve failed enough to make yourself a heck of a lot savvier and smarter.

I Don’t Have Time

Guess what, sweetie? No one actually has time. There’s never enough time in the day to do all the things we need to do. It’s simply not possible. But we all find time to make time for what’s really important. If you’re using this as an excuse, I feel sorry for you. Wipe that negative thought out of your mind and move on!
