Six Uses of Logic To Make Life More Enjoyable

Logic: It is one of those things we all know exists, but it seems we so rarely use in the day to day grind that is life. Logically, we know that we are supposed to be grateful for what we are blessed with, worry less, enjoy more, and live for today. Unfortunately, not everyone can do this so easily. If everyone took a moment to think logically they might all enjoy just a little more of life, without really even trying.

Let Go of the Past

What’s done is done. What happened in the past cannot be changed. What you did yesterday no longer matters today. If everyone remembered that the past is the past and stopped trying to rehash it or change it, the present would be far more enjoyable for all.

Don’t Worry About What Others Think

Here’s the deal; it doesn’t matter what you do, you are never going to make everyone you know like you. There will always be people who don’t like you, who don’t think you’re all that great, and guess what? It doesn’t matter what they think. You should never care what others think of you, because it’s none of your business and it’s none of your concern.

Time Heals Most Everything

Even the worst heartache in the world may seem like it will never end, and it may not. However, time will make it hurt less and it will get easier. Remember that when you are having a difficult time.

You Are the Only Reason for Your Own Happiness

You do not need another person to make you happy. You have to make yourself happy. Once you are happy with yourself, no one else will be able to make you feel anything less than happy.

Stop Comparing Your Life to Others

I see this all too often. People are so consumed with comparing themselves to the person they think they want to be, or the person whose life they want to have that they are making themselves miserable. Why on earth would you even want to be someone else in the first place? Your own life is yours, no one else’s, which makes you that much more awesome than everyone else. Be happy with you, and stop wishing to be someone else. They probably have a few flaws you should be grateful not to have.

There are a lot of problems in the world, and I’m sure you have your fair share. However, you don’t have every problem in the world, and whatever problems you have today will not always be problems, so smile. Stop worrying and enjoy your life.
