It’s Never Too Early to Start Your Spring Cleaning

Spring is not exactly next week, but it is next month. And that means that it’s time to start your spring cleaning. Yes, I know that it’s not spring just yet, and yes, I know you don’t want to clean anything. I mean, you probably just took the last of the Christmas stuff up into the attic for crying out loud. But let’s face it; if you don’t do it now, you’re not going to do it at all. I know this because I am a smart woman who understands that in six weeks it’s going to be beautiful outside and all you are going to want to do is get outside and make magic in the beautiful weather. You are not going to want to clean. So with that said, we have some ideas that will help you get your spring cleaning started now and finished by the time the weather actually becomes nice. Because it’s cold now; and no one wants to spend time outside in this weather.

Pick One Project at a Time

Make a list and then pick one thing at time on which to work to get your spring cleaning accomplished as quickly as possible. For example, you can choose to make your house as sparkling clean as you want by starting with the closets. Then the garage, then the bedrooms, and then the bathrooms; and whatever you see fit.

Start Small

It’s really simple to get started with the spring cleaning when you start small. For example, if you choose to go ahead and start with a closet and then get that done, you are going to feel accomplished. When you feel accomplished, it’s easier to want to do more cleaning.

Enlist Help

If you get the entire family to help, cleaning happens a lot faster. It’s a great way to look at your spring cleaning by asking everyone in the family to do their part. You get things done, and you get to spend some quality time bonding with one another.
