Three Great Meals Incorporating Chinese Cabbage


Chinese cabbage is a great addition to any meal. It is tasty and delicious, and it’s healthy at that. There’s no better addition to your dinner than something that’s not only delicious but good for you. That’s why those who are familiar with Chinese cabbage make sure to use it as often as possible. These are three of the best ways to incorporate Chinese cabbage into your favorite dishes.

Braised Cabbage

You can serve this as a side with any dish. It’s simple. All you have to do is cut long strips of Chinese Cabbage and stick them on the skillet. Cover them with a mixture of vegetable broth, garlic powder, ginger and soy sauce to taste.  You will then cover the dish and let it cook on a medium heat for about 7 minutes before you remove it and serve to your family and/or guests.


Another really great way to use Chinese Cabbage is to replace your taco lettuce with this slightly healthier and more filling alternative. You don’t have to do anything to this meal except swap out these two ingredients. However, you will want to spend a few minutes cleaning your Chinese Cabbage and cutting it into small strips so that it fits nicely inside your tacos.

Chinese Stir-Fry

It’s a simple way to add a bit of flavor to your favorite Chinese stir-fry recipe. Just make your recipe the way you like to make it – there are so many different variations it’s better to just stick with the one you know and love than it is to try a completely new recipe you might not like as much. Toss in a bit of cleaned, sliced Chinese Cabbage and mix everything together before serving it over rice. Some people like to add a bit of chicken as well, for some added flavor and protein.
