Boiled eggs are chalk full of protein and other healthy vitamins and minerals, making them a wonderful source of energy. The issue with these, however, is that they can be a pain to peel. Once you boil the eggs you have to wait for them to cool and then you have to set forth to perform the very tedious task of peeling the eggs. It’s annoying and irritating, and it’s something that most people really can’t stand. There’s not even a really good reason you can’t stand it; it’s just tedious. And if you’re always in a hurry, you’re burning yourself in your attempt to peel your egg so that you can eat it. If you have kids and it’s Easter, you have to deal with the mess of tiny pieces of egg all over the place. It is just a lot of work and a lot of tedium. And we are here to tell you that you can actually peel an egg without ever laying hands on it. Yes, that’s right; you heard us correctly. You can peel an egg without ever touching the egg.

Boil your eggs. When you are finished, place them in a glass of water that covers the egg to almost the top. That’s all you have to do to get started; and some people say it doesn’t even matter whether or not you use hot, cold or warm water. Other swear you have to use one or the other; we say you can use whatever you want and choose to stick with the method that works best for you.

Next, place your hand over the top of the glass and shake the glass vigorously for approximately 5 seconds. When you are finished, remove your hand and you will see that the shell is mostly removed from the egg and you can pick it up between two fingers and remove it in one motion. And you’re done peeling your egg; and you didn’t even have to touch it.
