Host a Lovely Brunch Every Time

Brunch is a favorite meal for many. Sunday brunches are more popular than ever, mostly because it’s an excuse to get together with your loved ones over a lingering – and delicious – meal. If you’re idea of a gorgeous weekend morning is to enjoy brunch with the people you most enjoy, you’ll want to know exactly how to plan the perfect brunch. These simple tips will help you make your next brunch elegant, fun and memorable.

Create a Menu

The best way to host brunch is to create a decadent menu with plenty of variety. This means including brunch items from every spectrum to ensure that your guests all find something they love. A great idea is a pancake and/or waffle bar, hot items such as sausage and bacon and breakfast casseroles, muffins, croissants, French toast, potatoes, fruit and other dishes that vary. The menu should be big enough to feed everyone in attendance and vast enough to meet any and all dietary expectations.

Casual Seating

The best way to host brunch is to allow for casual seating. An upscale table setting is not necessary. Bring in comfortable chairs and extra seating to your living space and your outdoor living space. This allows your guests to eat this casual meal while socializing with everyone else in attendance and enjoying the beautiful morning.

No brunch is complete without a great playlist. The music playing in the background of your event should be something that’s upbeat enough to set a good scene, but casual enough to be appropriate for everyone. Songs that cross the genres and the decades are always good ones. Think Norah Jones, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Kenny Chesney and Frank Sinatra. If you can create a playlist with this different type of music, you can create a successful brunch where everyone has fun.
