As classic as it gets, a martini is still a temperamental drink. Despite being one of the best vodka drinks, everyone has their own recipe, even though it’s dry vermouth and vodka, and a garnish.
Watermelon Mules
Some people like to find watermelon vodka, but others use the regular stuff. Add ginger beer, watermelon simple syrup (yes, it exists), lime juice, and the garnish, and you’re good to go.

You’ve heard of a Shirley Temple, right? Well, Shirley grows up a little with this version as a shot of vodka gives her a new appeal.

Get vodka, peach schnapps, Chambord, orange juice, and cranberry juice, and get to mixing. It’s not a promise of things to come, but it’s a pleasing drink.

Appletini
You could make this with vodka and apple cider, apple vodka, apple liqueur, and pretty much anything that will complement the booze. It’s tasty either way.
Sea Breeze
The funny thing is that you can confuse this with a Bay Breeze. The difference is in the garnishes.
Black Russian
Think of a white Russian without the cream, and you’ve got it. This drink is a little rougher, but it’s just as good and not quite as diluted.
Vodka Tonic
Does it get that much simpler? Yes, it does, but not much.
Cape Cod
It’s similar to a Bay Breeze and a Sea Breeze but lose the grapefruit juice. Yes, drinks do get too simple and too complicated at times.
Madras
Vodka, cranberry juice, and…wait for it…orange juice. Not to be confused with several other drinks.
Lemon Drop
Vodka and triple sec tend to go together a lot. But add some lemon juice and sugar the rim of your glass and get your drink on.
Zipper
If you want to try, this drink is supposed to be layered with the Chambord on bottom, the vodka in the middle, and soda water on top. It’s a little tricky but easy to learn.
