Folorunsho Alakija’s biggest business is in the oil industry. She is the founder and owner of Famfa Oil Limited, a Nigerian oil exploration company that holds a 60% stake in the OML 127 offshore oil field. The field is one of the largest deep-water discoveries in Nigeria, and Famfa Oil’s stake in it has contributed significantly to Alakija’s wealth. However, she is also involved in other businesses such as fashion, real estate, and philanthropy.
