How much territory did the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo grant the US?

After the territory now known as Oregon became part of the US, the expansion agenda of the US continued in earnest as President Polk set his sights on acquiring California from Mexico too. This ultimately led to the Mexican-American war that led to the signing of the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo; this historic treaty effectively granted 525,000 miles of territory to the United States.
The treaty is the reason why states like New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, and Wyoming all exist in the US today as they are all part of the 525,000 miles.
