Clean Hood Latch With WD-40

A part that most people look over is the hood latch. The hood latch can get quite dirty over time as it is close to the engine and exposed to the open air. A clean hatch not only looks good, but it also functions better when it is not all gunked up.
An excellent way to clean your hood latch is to use WD-40. All you have to do is spray the hood latch with WD-40, let it sit for a couple of minutes, and then wipe it off with a towel. This will leave the hood latch looking brand new and keep it functioning well.
