Sigourney Weaver
Sigourney Weaver is an American actress, born on October 8, 1949, in New York City. She gained prominence as a result of her role as Ellen Ripley in the science fiction film “Alien” (1979) and its sequels. Weaver has also appeared in films such as “Ghostbusters” (1984), “Gorillas in the Mist” (1988), and “Avatar” (2009). She has been nominated for three Academy Awards and has won a BAFTA Award, two Golden Globe Awards, and two Primetime Emmy Awards. In addition to her acting career, Weaver is also an environmental activist and has supported various causes, including climate change awareness. She has been married since 1984 and has one child.
